I sold my first motorcycle yesterday. It was a 2002 Suzuki Savage. I really liked riding that bike and even more so after I did some major maintenance on it. I replaced the cam chain and the automatic adjuster. It's a common failure item on the Savage. After the repair, I started riding it a lot more. It was running better than ever!
I just had too many motorcycles in the garage so I had to pick one to sell and the Savage was the logical choice. It went to a student at NMSU who is a brand new rider and who recently took the MSF Basic Rider's Course. He was very happy to get the bike and It felt good to turn over the keys to someone who will appreciate it and take care of it. My last ride on that bike was 225 miles to deliver it to the new owner. Good luck Matthew and ride safe!
That chapter is finished and it's time to turn the page. I wonder what the next chapter will hold?
